Ringer Lawn Restore
Revitalize Your Lawn To A Thick Vigorous Texture

This balanced slow release formula that promotes growth thus eliminating weed pests. Each granule of product contains the fully balanced formula.

Contains all natural ingredients (poultry feather meal, bone meal, and soybean meal) in a balanced slow release formula delivering a 10% nitrogen (N), 2% phosphate (P), and 6% potassium (K) mixture. The analysis of 10-2-6 provides both quick release nitrogen for fast green up (3-5 days) and slow release nitrogen that feeds for up to 8 weeks. Lawn Restore contains no manures or synthetic ingredients. The nutrients are derived from high-protein, agricultural by-products including feather meal, soybean meal and bone meal along with naturally mined minerals. Lawn Restore also contains a proprietary blend of beneficial soil microorganisms, sugars, and complex carbohydrates. Lawn Restore is made using a unique manufacturing process resulting in a uniform particle that is dust free and easy to spread.

Unlike synthetic fertilizers products, Lawn Restore not only feeds the grass, it feeds the soil. Soil microorganisms utilize the proteins and carbohydrates as an energy source. When Lawn Restore is applied to the soil, microbial decomposition of the organic materials occurs which then releases the nutrients in a form available to plants. This two-step process prevents burning, encourages consistent growth patterns, and lessens disease susceptibility.

Lawn Restore is an ideal fertilizer for lawns that have been damaged by drought or disease, or for any other type of problem lawn situation. When Lawn Restore is used consistently, the increased soil microbial populations that result have been shown to reduce conditions that promote common lawn diseases such as dollar spot, brown patch, and necrotic ring spot and will help eliminate thatch. In addition, the high potassium content increases a lawns tolerance to the stresses of drought, cold and high temperatures, wear, and compaction.

What the Numbers Mean
The three numbers on the front of most fertilizer bags show the percentage by weights of a particular nutrient contained within the product. A higher number does not necessarily mean a better product. What is important is the type of nutrients provided and the ways in which they are released. Ringer Lawn Restore is specially formulated to provide the appropriate ratio of nutrients for a lush, thick, green, vital lawn.

10 (%) Nitrogen- Promotes vigorous growth, gives grass a lush, green color.
2 (%) Phosphate- Phosphorous source that stimulates root growth.
6 (%) Potash- Potassium source that helps plants withstand heat, cold, and drought stresses.

Easy-to-use Directions
1. Fill Spreader
2. Choose Settings
3. Apply and Water

Normal Lawns
Apply in spring, summer, and fall at a rate of 10 lbs. of fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. with a (drop)or rotary spreader (bag covers 2,500 sq. ft.) which will deliver 1 lb. of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per application.

Water immediately after application to activate product. Keep lawn moist, but not saturated for the next 3-4 days. For continued maintenance, water once or twice weekly to provide1”of moisture (including rainfall). A typical takes 3-4 hours to provide 1” of moisture.

Additional winter application or application up to 20 lbs. per 1,000sq. ft. may be desirable in climates with a longer growing cycle.

Lawns with Excess Thatch or Problem Lawns
Check your thatch by extracting a 2” to 4” deep soil core sample with a coring tool or knife and measure the brown layer of roots and organic material just above soil surface. The optimum thatch level of a lawn is 1/4” to 1/2”. If in excess of 1/2", or for a problem lawn, Ringer recommends the following four steps to enhance the quality of your lawn:

1. Fertilization – A fertilizer that provides slow release nitrogen should be applied 2-4 times per season following recommended application rates.
2. Watering – Lawns should receive approximately one inch of water a week (including rainfall). A typical sprinkler takes 3-4 hours to provide one inch of moisture.
3. Mowing – Adopt the 1/3 rule, not more than 1/3 of the leaf should be removed in any one mowing. During times of stress (summer), keep grass longer than in spring and fall.
4. Aerating – Core aerating in spring or fall. Core aerating allows air into the soil and breaks up compacted soil.

New Sod or Seed
Lawn Restore is ideal in helping establish new root systems. Unlike some fertilizers, it won’t burn tender, developing roots. Simply apply at a rate of 10 lbs. of fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. For new sod, work into topsoil before laying sod. For new seed, work into topsoil prior to seeding.

Water to keep surface moist, but not saturated, until sod/seedings are established.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of animals. They may be attracted to the product’s ingredients.

IMPORTANT!
Store unused fertilizer in the bag and seal tightly. This product is very moisture absorbent and needs to stay dry.
